FAQ

Questions We Hear Before Someone Books

Straight answers to what comes up most before a first visit to the studio.

Do I need to be a low handicap to get anything out of this?

No — if anything, the opposite is true. Players with less consistent strike location tend to see the biggest jump, because rack clubs are built around swing profiles most recreational players don't actually have. A mismatched set exposes an inconsistent swing more than it exposes a dialed-in one.

How long does a session run?

Single-club sessions — driver, fairway wood, utility, wedge, or putter — run 45 to 60 minutes. A full iron set session runs 60 to 90 minutes. A full bag run covering every club typically takes 2 to 3 hours.

Am I obligated to buy clubs after a session?

Never. You leave with a printed readout from both monitors whether you order that day or not at all. If you do order, your session fee is credited in full against the build.

What does "dual-monitor" actually mean, in plain terms?

Every swing runs through a radar unit and a camera unit at the same time. Each technology can miss or misjudge certain strikes on its own, so we only trust a number once both units land on the same reading independently.

What happens if the two monitors disagree?

We re-swing. A number that only one unit reports doesn't go onto a build sheet — the session simply runs a few extra swings until both units confirm the same figure.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Bring the clubs relevant to your session, the shoes you'd normally wear on the course, and a rough sense of your typical scoring average if you have one handy.

Do you fit left-handed players?

Yes. Left-handed demo heads are stocked across every major category, and both monitors work identically regardless of which way you swing.

Can I get fit if I already like my current clubs?

Plenty of players come in just to verify their current set's numbers rather than to buy anything new. It's common to find one or two outliers in an otherwise solid bag.

How soon can I pick up a finished build?

Most orders are built and re-verified on both monitors within a week, since parts are stocked on site rather than routed through an outside build queue.

What areas do you usually see players from?

The studio sits in Coeur d'Alene, and most players come from around the city and the surrounding Kootenai County area, along with the Spokane side of the state line.
